My name is Jarisma Thor, and I am the owner of NailsWithJarisma LLC. I am an independent licensed nail technician located in Oshkosh, WI & I specialize in polygel application. My love for nails started when I began doing my own nails during COVID and has since then sparked a passion for a rewarding career. I love meeting new people & making the clients who sit in my chair feel heard, seen & pampered. My goal is to not only provide your nail services but also to create a comfortable space for you to relax, unwind, enjoy the silence, or talk my ear off! Polygel, also called hybrid gel or acrygel, is a mix of acrylic powder and clear gel. This nail enhancement offers the strength of acrylic with the flexibility of gel. The product allows me to move, shape, and mold it how I like for as long as I like. Once the desired application is achieved, the polygel must be cured in a UV lamp. Whether you are looking to start your natural nail journey or want extensions, polygel can do it both. NAIL FIXES: I offer free nail fixes up to 3 days after you get them done. Anything after that is a $5/nail fix fee. Additional charges may be added for medium/advanced nail art fixes NO MATTER if you are within the 3 day window or not. BEFORE/AFTER HOURS APPOINTMENT REQUESTS: There is an additional $15 fee if you need an appointment before 9 am or after 7 pm. GUEST POLICY: I allow only 1 guest to join you if they must. My suite is small & this is a shared space where other beauty providers will be servicing their own clients. Keeping extra guests to a minimum is best. Thank you for understanding. PAYMENT: Cash or card is accepted. *There is an additional 3.5% convenience for any card transactions. PHONES: Please silence your phone during your appointment. Please refrain from excessive phone usage (texts, phone calls, etc). I need your hands available to me as much as possible. If you must make or take a phone call, please no speaker! This is a shared space where other service providers are servicing their own clients. We ask everyone to be courteous of others at the salon. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations MUST BE made AT LEAST 24 hours before your appointment time.
If you cancel AFTER 24 hours before your appointment time, a 20% service fee will be charged.
NO SHOWS will result in a 50% service fee. You may be required to send a deposit before booking any future appointments.
*Please note that multiple no shows may lead to no longer allowing you to book with me.
I allow a 15-minute grace period, anything later will be considered a "NO SHOW" & will result in an automatic appointment cancellation and a 50% service charge.
Our time is so valuable and these policies are in place to protect mine as a business owner and yours as a client. I completely understand life happens whether you are sick or you have an emergency. I just ask that as soon as you are aware you are running behind or can no longer keep your appointment time to please notify me ASAP! :)
